Welcome!
I am an applied micro-economist specializing in political economy, media, economic history and development economics with a particular focus on gender.
I study how cultural norms around women evolve in response to historical shocks — wars, media, and propaganda — drawing on archival sources such as newspapers, magazines, and movies.
I am a PhD student at the University of Turin and a PhD fellow at Collegio Carlo Alberto, working under the supervision of Elena Esposito and Giovanni Mastrobuoni.
Here you can find my CV.

- Jan–Apr 2026 — Visiting the Center for International Development (Harvard Kennedy School) as CID Visiting Researcher Fellow, hosted by Eliana La Ferrara.
- 2025 — My Job Market Paper Wartime Narratives and Gender Norms was awarded the Mixtape Fellowship.
